As we round out Copeland’s 55th year of roofing in the Miami Valley, we want to reflect on how we got here. In no small part, our customers and community have helped make us the company we are today. We thank you for your support as we provide quality services to our neighbors!
In 1965, Copeland Roofing was born! Founded by R.V. Copeland, we were originally a residential roofing and siding company. Our work has expanded to gutters, windows, doors, and commercial services through the years, but we had humble beginnings.
We have been located in our office building for decades. But, prior to Copeland’s moving in, the location was actually a historic farmhouse! It was owned by a prominent family of the Beavercreek community, the Hawkers. Believe it or not, we have a replica of the land’s record of sale from 1860 on display in our office!
The farmhouse and the area around it eventually became a commercial plaza and has had many businesses call it home. Cleaners, barber shops, laundromats, beauty salons, and real estate agents have been among the occupants of Knollwood Plaza. Copeland is glad to be among them, and watch the neighborhood grow with us!
Copeland has proudly served the Dayton area, and Beavercreek in particular as our home, for so many years! Being established in the community is a badge of honor for us, and we plan to continue serving you for many to come. We can’t wait for our 56th anniversary and beyond!
